Junior Elite Release Form A and Physical Form B

Camp With A Few Changes
We have been working hard to re-envision our popular Junior Elite Camp to provide the experience and fun of the past, with a few changes geared towards guarding everyone’s health and safety. Junior Elite Camp 2022 is designed as a day camp for skaters who are currently training on a synchro team at the Juvenile, Intermediate or Novice level. At the camp, skaters will be broken out into groups with the majority of skaters at the Juvenile or higher level and a smaller group for those at the Pre-Juvenile level.

Junior Elite Camp will include in-person sessions at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA, June 24-26, with an additional pre-camp virtual session to be held on Saturday, June 18. Skaters will be organized by age and experience into smaller groups with no more than 30 skaters on ice at a time. During the 10.5 hours of on-ice time skaters can expect to be working on power and speed, multi directional skating and balance as well as fun classes like Musical Interpretation and Movement sessions. While the main focus is on improving individual skills we will have a “Synchro Element” on ice session as well this year. Guest coaches, former Olympian Suzy Semanick-Schurman, and Melissa Williams (USFS & PSA Coach, Saratoga Springs FSC, Figures Gold Medalist), will join Haydenettes Head Coach, Saga Krantz, and Lexettes Head Coach, Lee Chandler, to lead the camp. Haydenettes Team USA athletes as well as other coaches to be announced will round out the camp staff. Camp will be a day format with check in and out times each day with no overnight experience.

A: We plan to group skaters together as close as possible to their test level to keep things safe and fun for everyone. Majority of our skaters at this camp are currently competing at the Intermediate and Novice level. The final groups will be decided after registration closes.
